Experience
I love photographing people! I shoot weddings, family and social events, and portraits. I specialize in using studio lighting to bring out the details in peoples eyes and to complement their features. I use professional studio lights indoors or in combination with outside lighting to bring out the best of every person in the photo.
Education
Self-taught with extensive on-line course work and several college courses in composition and darkroom processing. Recent training included a full day Masters in Lighting course by Urs Recher.
Skills
While cameras and lighting gear are only part of the formula for successful portraits, I use all high megapixel digital cameras, and Profoto strobes. Once set up, the focus is on bringing out the best of each person photographed. I also have extensive photo editing, retouching, color balancing, and color correcting expertise.
